Care Ministries Volunteer Opportunities

Details: Most volunteer opportunities in Care require an application and specific orientation. Counseling roles require completion of a 10-week Care Ministries Training. There are many volunteer opportunities in our six core ministry areas:

    COUNSELING & MARRIAGE
        Lay Counselor (Individual/Marriage)
        Premarital Mentor
        Marriage Enrichment Class Facilitator
    CRISIS CARE
        Care Connection Volunteer (Auditorium/Care Connection Room)
        Funeral/Memorial Service Volunteer
        Meal Team Volunteer
    FINANCIAL CARE
        Financial Mentor
    PRAYER MINISTRY
        Intercessory Prayer
        Sunday Morning Prayer (before service and down front team)
    THURSDAY NIGHT CARE
        Support Group Facilitator (DivorceCare, GriefShare, Hope for Hurting Parents)
        Set-up volunteers, Greeters and Meal Team Volunteers
        Celebrate Recovery & The Landing Key Leader Volunteers
        CR Worship Team Volunteers
    VISITATION CARE
        Hospital/Home-bound Member/Nursing Home Volunteer

No previous experience or prerequisite training is required to volunteer with the Intercessory Prayer Team or Meal Team.
